To the classification of electronic (digital) evidence

The article deals with the problem of classification of electronic evidence, the author's approach to the grounds for their classification is presented. The author comes to the conclusion that electronic evidence can be classified both on the grounds peculiar to traditional evidence and on the grounds peculiar only to electronic evidence, which are considered in this article. It concludes that it is necessary to allocate electronic evidence in a separate type, which should be reflected in the Code of Criminal Procedure. A legal basis should be established for the obligation for carrying out the expertise for each electronic evidence, during this expertise it is necessary to take into account the specifics of their types.
