Classification of the congenital developmental anomalies of the lower limbs accompanied by shortening

The work deals with the classification of congenital developmental anomalies of the lower limbs with shortening as a key symptom. The classification is intended for detailing of the shorting defect of the lower limb, that is of importance for surgical treatment planning. Moreover, it allows to assess the condition of the whole limb, not only its individual segments in the process of children's organism growth. The positive aspects of the clinical-and-roentgenologic classifications of our country and those of foreign ones have been taken into consideration for creation of such systematization of the developmental disorders of the lower limbs. The data of the studies of the angular and torsion deformities of the lower limb segments for this psthology are given.
