Constitutionalism, as a complex sociopolitical and state law phenomenon, has recently begun to attract the attention of modern researchers. This is due to the need for a deeper understanding of its essence and content. At the same time, constitutionalism is viewed in a broad and narrow sense. Constitutionalism as a scientific theory covers a wide range of problems, particular theories, ideas, and principles. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the Constitutional (Statutory) Courts of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation make a worthy contribution to the development of constitutionalism. The semantic interpretation of the texts of the constitutions (charters) of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation with their constitutional (statutory) courts enriches and supplements the scientific understanding of the constitutionalization of both the legal system and the legislative system.
