In 2005, a new concept was introduced into Russian domestic political circulation - “national project”, which is a type of federal target program, since it is approved by the Government in the form of such documents. In continuation of government activities to stimulate the development of economic sectors, in 2008, State Development Programs were adopted to replace priority national projects, which since 2013 are mostly designed until 2020 or 2025. One of the first national projects was the project “Development of the agro-industrial complex (hereinafter referred to as the agro-industrial complex)”. In addition, at present, given the realities of the sanctions period, the agro-industrial complex is becoming one of the important areas of state activity as an element of national security. In this regard, scientific coverage of issues of forensic support for the activities of law enforcement agencies in detecting, investigating and preventing crimes committed in the agro-industrial complex is a necessary condition for improving law enforcement practice, which, in fact, is implemented in the dissertation research of Sergei Valerievich Pakhomov on the topic “Forensic theory and practice of investigating crimes committed in the sphere of the agro-industrial complex”, submitted for defense for the academic degree of Doctor of Law in specialty 5.1.4. Criminal Law Sciences[84].
