Revisiting the identity of the perpetrator as an element of criminalistic characteristics of the embezzlement of public funds intended for the implementation of priority guidelines in agricultural development

In the article, based on the analysis of the specialized literature, on the study of the materials of criminal cases and preliminary examination, on the interview of law enforcement officials and on the judicial practice, the topicality of the research is determined, the concept and content of the criminal identity as well as its role in detection and investigation of embezzlement of public funds intended for the implementation of priority guidelines in agricultural development are described. Discussion and conclusions: a typical characteristics of the identity of criminals committing embezzlement of public funds intended for the implementation of priority guidelines in agricultural development is presented, that is of practical importance for the detection of crimes as it ensures the effectiveness and completeness of the investigation.
