Concerning methodological foundations of the objective of criminal procedure activities

The article considers methodological foundations of objectives of criminal procedure activities. The author defines moral, philosophical, legal and methodological foundations of criminal procedure objectives. The author criticizes the concept of criminal procedure objective focused on punishment, excluding its other components: education and serving the legitimate interests of individuals involved in the criminal procedure activities. The article justifies correlation and interdependence of the criminal procedure objective with the spiritual and moral bases of Russian people.
