On the issue of fraud in the field of auto insurance

Introduction: the article discusses the specific features of the Commission of crimes related to fraudulent actions in the field of auto insurance. The characteristic ways of committing fraud in the field of auto insurance. The reasons promoting growth of crimes of this orientation are investigated. The role of the use of special knowledge in the investigation of crimes related to fraudulent actions in the field of auto insurance is indicated. Materials and methods: the normative basis of the study is formed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, criminal, criminal procedure and administrative legislation, Federal laws, local legal acts regulating the activities of insurance companies. The methodological basis of the study was the General dialectical method of scientific knowledge, which has a universal character, as well as cognitive methods and techniques of observation, comparison, analysis, generalization and description.
