To the issue of some peculiarities of vesting powers of judges of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and about the mechanism of their termination: comparative legal analysis

The article deals with the personnel issue of judicial constitutional justice in the prism of amendments to the Constitution and amendments to the Federal Constitutional Law «On the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation». The author analyzes the old and new requirements for candidates for the posts of judges of the Constitutional Court. In addition, the author examines the issue of empowering judges of the Constitutional Court and their deprivation by pointing out conflict and controversial issues in the activities of representative bodies of power and the head of state, which trigger the mechanism for appointing this category of judges. The author takes examples from foreign practice of solving the personnel issue of judicial constitutional justice, and also proposes his own ideas for improving the domestic mechanism of the personnel issue of the judiciary.
