The question of social development indicators of the regions of the Russian Federation

The article describes a system of indicators characterizing social development of the regions of the Russian Federation. In particular, we study the problem of territorial differentiation of quality of life. It has been established that the presence of the very serious social problems due to the very high level of property stratification of society, quite low compared with many European countries, social security, the lack of a stable and well-functioning social sphere.
