To the question of the concept of innovation activity according to the legislation of the Russian Federation

The article analyzes the concept of innovation activity and peculiarities of legal regulation at the Federal and regional levels. It identifies objective, main characteristics of innovation activity and its complex character. The author proposes to include the concept of innovative activity in the special Law on ‘Innovation Activities in the Russian Federation’, aiming at removing legal uncertainty existing in the Russian legislation.
