On improving the efficiency of sanatorium services

The results of evaluating the effectiveness of the Russian sanatorium-resort complex are presented. The analysis of the performance indicators of Russian sanatoriums has been carried out and the main trends of their development in recent years have been identified: the growth in the number of tourists, in the volume of income and profits, the continued decrease in the duration of one trip, the increase in rehabilitation programs in the complex of sanatorium services. The features of sanatorium management are considered and an appropriate model of the management system for the development of enterprises of the sanatorium complex is proposed. A four-component evaluation model of the management system of enterprises providing medical and wellness services and a system of indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of the administrative, integration, service and infrastructural innovation subsystem have been developed.
