On the issue of legal regulation of free legal aid in Russia

The Russian Federation is a welfare state whose policy is aimed at creating conditions that ensure a decent life and free human development. A socially oriented economy, the purpose of which is to meet human needs for material and spiritual goods. Guarantees of social protection of citizens are within the scope of these priorities, which is reflected in legislation developing the provisions of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Today, free legal aid is provided within the framework of two systems - state and non-state, since this area is under the joint jurisdiction of the Russian Federation and the regions.
