Concerning a question of a subject specifics of ethnic psychology as a science about interethnic cooperation

The article deals with the subject content of ethnic psychology as a science about the spiritual and psychological features of ethnic groups in particular, and a science about the interethnic communication in general. The author compares various interpretations of the research object, considers the structure, the conceptual framework, and the functions of the ethnic psychology. The attention is focused on the types of ethnic communication, which manifest themselves among other ways during the process of teaching Russian language to Chinese students as future translators; this is a particular subject of the author's research.
