The article is devoted to the actual topic of the introduction of information technology in the accounting process of enterprises. This article discusses technologies and opportunities for automating accounting, the use of computer programs for filling out accounting documents and providing financial reports via the Internet. Information technologies are necessary to improve and provide in an accelerated form the necessary information in the functioning of many types of activities, therefore, at present, it is almost impossible to imagine the conduct of accounting operations without their use. The use of digital information technologies in the automation of accounting significantly increases its efficiency.
