About the professional training of specialists for Zlatoust mining plants (the end of XIX - beginning XX c)

The research of the ways of influence of Western European and Eastern cultural traditions upon forming and developing of Zlatoust engraving school presumes the consideration of question about training of skilled workers. Zlatoust armory and factories of Zlatoust region ( where in the first half of XIX century the unique types of decorative-applied arts were born) formed not only industrial but cultural centers of the Urals by the middle of the century. The talented graduators of Emperor academy of Arts worked there. In the second half of XIX century the issue about professional training of specialists for the oldest Urals enterprises got new development. The conducted research allowed to reveal new archive materials, discover new names of the students of Stroganovsiy college, to specify the biographical data. Remarkable works of Zlatoust engravers of the second half of XIXc. were revealed. New page in the history of art, technology and technique of industrial Urals was opened.
