Concerning development of the national education in the Yakutia region (Amginsky schools of the late XIX - early XX)

The article considers the poorly studied questions of the history of education in the remote regions of the Russian Empire, in particular, Yakutia. On the basis of the sources introduced into scientific use for the first time, the article discusses development of the primary education in the rural areas. The authors deal with the contribution of the exiles in the education of children, describe the role of trustees in the organization of schools.
