In the context of the formation of a new world order, China has firmly established itself as Russia's main trading partner, showing significant results in terms of trade turnover in terms of value and quantity. The article presents the main directions of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, as well as a selective analysis of the results of economic relations. The bottlenecks arising from the cooperation between the two countries are highlighted. Undesirable trends in the emerging structure of commodity exchange are noted, as well as recommendations on how to eliminate problems and further develop strategic partnership.
