To the question of the development of specialized meat-foot cattle breeding in regional agrobusiness

The article points to the importance of supporting the development of specialized beef cattle breeding and its impact on the efficiency of using the resource potential of the mountainous and steppe regions of the Altai Territory, provides data on the dynamics of sheep production, measures and amounts of subsidies from the federal and regional funds. - new budgets for the development of this direction of the industry, as well as the main recipients of subsidies in this direction. Measures to support herd horse breeding are considered, favorable factors for its development are noted, such as the presence of natural pastures, which ultimately leads to low costs for this type of livestock industry. A special direction of animal husbandry in the Altai Territory is antler reindeer breeding, advanced agricultural enterprises of this sub-industry and measures to support antler reindeer breeding and herd horse breeding are given. It also shows the total number of farms that have benefited from the support of these directions.
