To the issue of the graphical punctuation in the texts of modern political discourse

The growing role of the social media affects all spheres of people’s lives including politicians’ communication with each other and with the electorate. Lately web-statements of the political figures have become as prominent as the conventional political rhetoric from the rostrum. At the same time one of the means used by the politicians in order to address the public is the graphical and punctuational representation of the text that allows to show paralinguistic part of language in writing.
