Concerning military service of Adyghe people in the Black Sea Cossack host and the Russian army in the 19th century

The article studies a question of Adyghe people’s military service in the Black Sea Cossack Host and the Russian army in the nineteenth century as an example of the North Caucasian highlanders being used of the Russian statehood. The author considers particularly the service of those Adyghes, who moved in the late 19 th century to the right bank of the Kuban river, to the lands of the Black Sea Cossack Host, where they settled, and later were enlisted to the one.
