The article presents a brief review of folklore traditions in the places of compact residence of settled Koryaks in the beginning of the 21th century. The central figure, around which the mythological cycle of tales was formed, continues to be a Large Crow Qutkynnyaku. The popularity of stories about marriage tests the eldest son of a Large Crow, Amakut remains, but the stories themselves are simplified. Multi-stage development of the scene of action, characteristic of the Koryak narrative tradition of the early XX, now lost. The plots are being crushed: episodes begin to prevail as a separate complete stories, image system is being simplified. The number of characters is reduced to 5-7. From the texts of fairy tales disappear the names of minor characters, steadily kept only the names of the main characters Raven epic. In folklore form the texts appear, which arose under the influence of Russian folklore, as well as under the influence of book culture.
