Concerning status of Novorossiysk municipal services during 1943-1953

Basing upon materials from the Novorossiysk Archive and the works of experts in Novorossiysk history, the article considers the issue of city economy during the period from 1943 to 1953. The relevance of the research is undoubtful, since this subject is not covered by the few existing works on the city’s history. The article presents data on the pre-war state of the Novorossiysk city’s economy, the extent of its damage during the temporary occupation by the German fascist invaders, the progress and the results of its reconstruction.
