To the question of cooperation between the Russian Federation and China within the framework of the One Belt, One Road initiative: economic and other aspects

Sino-Russian cooperation has recently been actively developing in many areas. Representatives of China confirmed the course of development of relations with Russia at the recent St. Petersburg Economic Forum 2022, therefore, one of the key vectors for the development of Sino-Russian cooperation will be the further improvement of China's "One Belt, One Road" project. The implementation of this initiative has a significant impact on the economic development of countries along the Belt and Road. Russia, as the main participant in this initiative and the largest country that has a common border with China, is an important partner for China. The article discusses the main areas of cooperation between Russia and China within the framework of the One Belt, One Road project, including investment projects, agricultural trade between Russia and China, Sino-Russian energy cooperation, as well as the cultural component of the initiative. The analysis revealed that the cooperation between the Russian Federation and China in the framework of the One Belt, One Road initiative is gradually increasing the pace of development in a number of areas, however, there are areas that still require great attention from both countries, since their level of development is relatively low.
