Revisiting modern economic development of Russia and neighbouring Asian states

In the context of globalization and regionalization, the role of the economic factor in the study of international integration processes is growing. Russia borders on Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia, which are neighboring Asian states. The article considers the main trends in the economic development of states, presents the results of a comparative analysis of the structure of the economy and processing industries. In order to establish cross-border economic relations, first of all, it is necessary to develop foreign trade; therefore, the article analyzes the development of international trade of states. The reasons for slowing economic growth and strengthening the negative trend associated with a decrease in the volume of foreign trade are identified in the article. The specifics of structural differences in the development of the economy and branches of the manufacturing sector of industry are determined. The paper presents measures to deepen integration processes.
