On the issue of the Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University formation and development

The Russian state, which was engaged in the resettlement of the excess population from the European part to the Yenisei Province, came to understand the need to establish agricultural education here even in the imperial period. The training of specialists for agriculture in Soviet times was a condition for the functioning of the collective farm-state farm system created in the country. The need to train highly qualified specialists for the restoration and development of agriculture in the postwar years led to the creation of the Krasnoyarsk Agricultural Institute. For seventy years, its team has gone through the stages of formation, development, obtaining the status of a "university", work in the conditions of different economic systems. Today, the Krasnoyarsk State Agrarian University is a specialized institution of higher education of an innovative nature.
