High-quality fuel is the effective key to the operation of rolling stock, which is actively operated in the agro-industrial complex of our country. The introduction of new production technologies when issuing an innovative energy satisfaction to the market, improving and modernizing the existing rolling stock, requires not only the expansion of the range of fuel used, lubricants and technical fluids, but also to tighten the requirements that are presented to their quality: improvement of physicochemical indicators . A comparative analysis of the two samples of the fuel of DT-3-K5 of different manufacturers has been performed. In accordance with the data of the regulatory documentation, such indicators as: cetane number, cetane index, diesel fuel density, kinematic viscosity, turbidity temperature, percentage by weight of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, mass fraction of sulfur, flash point in closed crucible, cokusability, ash, water content and overall pollution, oxidative stability have evaluated. It has been established that the test fuel samples comply with the requirements of the technical regulation of the Customs Union and the requirements of the State Standard in the field of quality. An analysis of the advantages and disadvantages in the functioning of diesel engines, which occur during their operation on the test sample No. 1 and No. 2, from the position of pouring, cleanliness, the quality of spraying and mixing, the inclination to form the formation of inaurus and cumulating diesel fuel.
