Revisiting the issue of victimological crimes prevention

This article is focused the criminological issue to the actual both in theoretical and practical aspects, that is victimological crimes prevention. The commission of a crime is a dynamic process in which such elements as the criminal, the victim and the criminal situation are closely intertwined. At the same time, the article substantiates and once again confirms the thesis that the role of the victim in the mechanism of individual criminal behavior should not be underestimated. A list of issues arising in the formation of victimological prevention is presented on the basis of the data analysis of official criminal statistics, the results of the study of primary registration cards for the victim and the materials of criminal cases.
