To the issue of the protection of child's rights from parents’ abuses

Purpose: The improvement of legal regulation of a child’s rights and legitimate interests’ self-protection from parents’ abuses. Methodology: There are used a method of system analysis and a method of legal modeling. Results: This article includes the analysis of legal regulation of the child’s right to protect his / her own rights and legitimate interests from parents’ abuses in the Russian Federation. There are revealed some problems, connected with the realization of this right, and suggested the measures, aimed at the improvement of family, civil procedure and other legislation. There is suggested to enhance the role of a lawyer in protection of children’s rights from parents’ abuses through providing free legal assistance in the form of consulting, drafting of procedural and other documents, participation in court proceedings as a representative. Novelty/originality/value: The article has considerable scientific value because it highlights the actual topic of the protection of children’s rights from parents’ abuses.
