The article contains an analysis of modern trends in the development of municipal service. Innovations in the municipal service are divided by the author into technologies for the formation of personnel potential and technologies for improving the efficiency of personnel work. The positive and negative aspects of the application of modern innovative technologies for the development of municipal service are considered.
