The usage of administrative coercive measures in police investigation

Introduction: the study considers the usage of administrative coercive measures by investigators to achieve the objectives of investigative activities. They require additional consideration due to the fact that the potential for the usage of administrative coercive measures to solve the tasks facing investigative activities are quite high, and research on this issue has not been conducted to date. Various administrative and legal procedures are applied in the course of investigative activities. Often, materials drawn up in the framework of the application of administrative coercive measures are taken as a basis for proof in the course of criminal investigations. Materials and Methods: sociological methods of survey of employees of investigator divisions of internal affairs bodies, as well as studies of normative legal acts regulating activities of internal affairs bodies are used.
