The article considers economical and geographical position (EGP) as a factor of the development of separate groups of districts of the Krasnoyarsk territory in modern Russia. The potential opportunities of EGP for near future with account of the change of the geographical scheme of railways and long-term strategy of developing relations between Russia and the countries of Asian-Pacific Region are analyzed.
