The authors of the article explore the features of the legal regulation of land within the boundaries of resort areas, considered the theoretical and practical problems of land legislation in this area. Special attention is paid to the legal problems of determining the competence of local governments to manage land plots located within the resort of federal value. We give an analysis of jurisprudence dealing with disputes about the origin of land rights spa settlements, proposed directions for improving Russias land legislation.
