Organization of hydrochemical monitoring on the river Sura in the Ulyanovsk region

This article presents the results of the chemical analysis of water in eight cross-sections of the River Sura in the Ulyanovsk region. 23 indicator samples were analyzed, water pollution index was calculated and water quality class was defined. The basic pollutants - suspended solids, chloride, iron, manganese, copper, zinc, lead, cobalt, oil. It is proposed to include the entire stretch of the River Sura in the Ulyanovsk region into the Roshydromet hydrochemical monitoring branch of Ulyanovsk.
