Concerning guarantee of personal safety of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

The article considers some issues of ensuring the personal safety of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the course of performing service tasks, apprehending criminals, and in everyday life. It is concluded that in the system of police officers' vocational training insufficient attention is paid to the role of special-tactical, firing training, as well as the study of the basics of personal safety. The author considers the main tasks of police officers' education in the course of service and firing training.
