Providing livestock products is a priority task facing the agricultural enterprises of the Krasnodar Region. State support for animal husbandry is being carried out, imported livestock, imported equipment and imported technologies are being purchased and imported for large dairy complexes and farms, but this does not always give the desired result. In the conditions of modern animal husbandry, one of the main directions is the effective reproduction and prevention of infertility in imported highly productive cows. The purpose of research: to study the influence of a temperate continental climate on the frequency of retention of placenta in cows due to the development of hypodynamia in them; to assess the possibility of using local natural factors (mineral water) for the prevention of infertility in cows against the background of reproductive disorders, during childbirth - retention of the placenta, in the postpartum period - inflammatory processes (endometritis) in a temperate continental climate. It has been established that year-round stall keeping in a temperate continental climate causes the development of hypodynamia in animals and, as a result, there is an increase in the incidence of uterine subinvolution in them - 34.1 %, retention of the placenta - 40.6, various forms of postpartum endometritis - 37.2, functional disorders of the gonads - 31.7 %. The Krasnodar Region is rich in natural resources, including mineral water. Krasnodar mineral water can be considered as a cheap, natural, environmentally friendly preparation that can be effectively used to normalize metabolic processes, reduce the risk of retention of the placenta and the development of postpartum inflammatory processes in cattle up to 13.5 %.
