To the question of the application of the method of laser 3D scanning in the manufacture of judicial auto-technical examination

Introduction: the article discusses modern technical means of recording incidents and modern technologies for inspecting the scene of an accident during various forensic examinations. Attention is also drawn to the advantages and disadvantages in cases where 3D modeling of scenes of various incidents is used. Examples of the inspection of road accidents using a 3D scanner are given. Materials and methods: the regulatory framework of the study is formed by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, local regulatory acts governing the activities of the internal affairs bodies, schemes of the place of an administrative offense, criminal cases and expert opinions on road traffic accidents. The methodological basis of the study was a comprehensive analysis of the scientific literature, the results of scientific research and law enforcement practice.
