The article notes that at the observed decrease in the production of agricultural machinery of domestic machine-building enterprises, saved import dependence. Notes the relevance of import substitution. Provides direction to create a favorable environment in the Russian market of means of production for agriculture, with the aim of ensuring the effective agricultural production.
