For historical reasons and the current socio-political situation, the African continent is characterized by common health problems. Among other features that determine the current situation, we can call a significant geographical, demographic and social differentiation within a single state. Modern problems of medicine in the region and their solutions will be considered on the example of the Republic of Sudan The division of the Sudan had had a major impact on the socio-economic situation in the country and, as a result, the state’s allocation for health had been reduced. The fall in oil prices, sanctions and trade embargoes have further aggravated the health situation in the country. The article analyzes the current trends in the development of health of the Republic of Sudan, applied computational methods to assess the effectiveness of medical institutions, analysis of the current state and dynamics of the health sector in the Republic of Sudan.
