The possibility of using Raman laser in experimental cervical cancer

The assessment of influence of the Raman-laser with the wavelength of 1265 nm on morphometric indicators of experimental tumor tissue of cervical cancer has been carried out. Pro - and antioxidant status of neoplasma in mice has been studied after Raman-laser irradiation in energy density of 212 and 1062 J/cm 2. It is established that laser radiation on the 30th day of tumor growth leads to a reduction in specific volume of a tumor parenchyma and an apoptotic index. The indicators of the system "lipid peroxidation - antioxidants" change dose-dependently. The irradiation by the Raman-laser in dose of 1062 J/cm 2 can lead to the development of an oxidative stress in a radiation zone.
