In this article such economic categories as quality and competitive ability of production are considered. Key indicators are selected, on the basis of which analysis is carried out, and conclusions are drawn about the quality of products. Basic methods for assessing competitiveness and determining the position of products are presented. As a result the factors that influence the level of competitiveness of products were analyzed. Authors offer measures to improve the quality of manufactured goods.
