Life quality of patients after central lymphodissection for differentiated thyroid cancer

The present paper describes the study results of life quality of 120 patients who underwent surgical treatment for differentiated thyroid cancer. The patients were divided into 2 groups depending on the presence or absence of central lymphodissection after removal of the thyroid gland. As a result, the data revealed no worsening of life quality after central lymphodissection as compared to conventional extrafascial thyroidectomy.
