Human resources issues in agricultural enterprises and increasing labor market attractiveness

The article addresses the pressing issue of human resource provision in Russia’s agro-industrial complex. It analyzes the reasons for the low attractiveness of agricultural labor for young specialists and the factors contributing to the outflow of qualified personnel from rural areas. Statistical data on the rural population and graduates of agricultural universities are presented. The article discusses government programs aimed at developing rural territories and supporting the agro-industrial complex. Key problems in the motivation and adaptation of young specialists in rural areas are identified. A comprehensive approach to solving the human resources problem is proposed, including measures to improve the agricultural education system, enhance working and living conditions in rural areas, and implement innovative methods of engaging with youth. The necessity of developing effective mechanisms for attracting and retaining qualified personnel in the agro-industrial complex is justified to ensure the sustainable development of the industry and rural territories.
