Personnel potential of Russian libraries: literature review

The article presents an analytical review of selected materials that touch upon the issues of the personnel component of the library sector: library and information education, regional research in the field of library personnel, young people in librarianship and personnel of the services of the methodological divisions of libraries. The review also affects the published texts of the first results of the All-Russian monitoring of staffing needs in the library sector and the professional standard «Specialist in library and information activities». The chronological scope of the submitted documents is from 2017 to 2023.
