In the study the questions connected with formation of personnel struc-ture of judicial authorities of Krasnoyarsk Region are considered. In the pe-riod of the Great Patriotic War for judicial authorities of wartime the turno-ver of the staff was typical. It was the cause of judicial staff mobilization in field army and frequent removal of judicial workers from positions because of discredit and failure of providing the duties. Most of judicial officers in wartime were inexperienced and badly educated lawyers, the system of le-gal education existing at that time in the USSR was not capable of preparing highly enough qualified specialists. To overcome the problems connected with the lack of education was already necessary in the course of execution by new judicial officers of the duties. Often unprepared lawyers did not cope with the tasks assigned to them, and they had to be exempted from the posts, so badly prepared and inexperienced employees came to their places. Re-gional law school could not give enough high level of preparation, besides, most of its graduates during the war left for work out of the region limits. Therefore the main way of professional development of justice officers were short-term courses and practice of national judges at regional court during which beginning lawyers, watching work of senior colleagues, adopted basic skills and abilities of judicial work.
