The article discusses the issue of weapons systems for fighter aircraft of Soviet aviation. By 1943, the Soviet Air Force gained significant combat experience, which served as the basis for the fact that by the middle of World War II, the organizational structure of the Air Force was reorganized and became more manageable and mobile. This allowed our aviation of all types to act more expeditiously and solve the tasks that the command set more successfully than it did at the initial stage of the war. But, nevertheless, with all the success of this system, the Soviet pilots had one big minus. They were not given complete freedom of action during the air battle, which sometimes led to the wasted loss of the lives of Soviet pilots.
