The paper presents results of investigation of chipped stone assemblage from the settlement near Khutor Veselyj in the Belaya River basin (Republic of Adygeya). The site is related with Chalcolithic settlements in the North-west Caucasian foothills (Meshoko, Svobobnoe, Myskhako, Zamok, Yasenova Polyana). Their cultural attribution remains unclear yet. Some aspects of the Khutor Veselyj assemblage, e. g. predominance of bifacial tools, low number of blade tools show parallels with stone industry of Yasenova Polyana and the Meshoko upper layer. Assemblages from Svobodnoe and Myskhako are less similar. Now it is still difficult to define a common tradition in chipped stone industries of these Chalcolithic sites.
