The stone tools from the settlement Chashkinskoe lake IIIA (based on the materials of the excavations in 2014)

The authors made a typological analysis and trace evidence of the stone tools from the settlement Chashkinskoe Lake IIIa which belonged to the Kama Neolithic culture. The study is based on the materials of the excavations which had been made in 2014. Stone tools of the settlement Chashkinskoe Lake IIIa are characterized by 1) the prevalence of tools on flakes over tools on the blades, 2) the use of small flakes and medium blades as blanks for the tools, 3) the use of different types of blanks for various types of tools with prevalence of knives, scrapers, spoke shaves, and whetstones.
