The article is devoted to Canada's policy towards the countries of Western Europe in 1970-s of the 20th century. It analyzes the efforts of Canadian diplomats in intensification of bilateral relations and cooperation in European regional organizations. The main attention is paid by the author to the characteristics of relations in economical sphere.
