We present the results of the content analysis of annotations for the most widely used local anesthetics and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs applied in dental practice in terms of theirs cardiotoxicity. Modern dentistry cannot be imagined without anesthesia and anti-inflammatory treatment. However, even the latest anesthetic agents demonstrate significant cardiotoxicity, though they are thought to be reasonably safe drugs with minimal side effects. Thus, the individuals who often undergo treatment in dental clinics should be considered as potential cardiac patients even if they don’t have any cardiovascular manifestations. Dental intervention is a potential risk factor for cardiovascular diseases.
