The article deals with certain aspects of the works of the artist Karl Nikolaevich Kal' kept in the collection of the Primorye State Picture Gallery and the Far East Art Museum. Karl Kal' was an impressionist who worked in Vladivostok, Primorye, from 1910 tol1930, and was one of the founders of the regional school of landscape painting.
